Pastor Netland grew up in the Southeast Iowa Synod. She's a graduate of Luther College with a BA in Public Communication Communicative Disorders and has one year of graduate work in Speech Pathology at the University of Kansas. Pastor Genelle has worked for Lutheran Campus Ministry at both KU and the Twin Cities. She has served with youth at Central Lutheran Church in Minneapolis and did her internship in Avon, CT. She started at Calvary on September 1st, 2001 and was installed as senior pastor on July 11, 2009.

Pastor Andrew joined the Calvary team in December 2009 and is grateful to be a partner in this Spirit-filled congregation. His focus areas are discipleship, adult education, and outreach, but he also shares general pastoral responsibilities, like pastoral care, preaching, worship, and teaching.
Pastor Andrew is a native of northwestern Minnesota, where he grew up on a farm near Fergus Falls. He graduated from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN, and from Luther Seminary in St. Paul, MN. His pastoral internship was in Cairo, Egypt, where he served a small expatriate congregation and worked closely with the Sudanese refugee community. Pastor Andrew also has experience in various social work-type settings. Through Lutheran Volunteer Corps, he taught in an adult education center in Washington, D.C., and worked in an addiction recovery center in Seattle, WA. He also spent a year in south India as a member of a l'Arche community, with people who have developmental disabilities.

Jennifer is a graduate of Hastings College, class of 1997, and received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sales/Marketing. Around the same time, she became self-employed with Mary Kay Cosmetics and that gave her the ability to be a stay at home mom and the flexibility to pick up her business and move it as her husband, Eric got promoted in his job. They have lived in Bemidji for 8 1/2 years and throughout this time, her relationship with the Lord grew deeper and stronger. He lead her and her husband to become Youth Leaders at the First Presbyterian Church for 3 years and gave her a passion to teach young people. From there, she has been subbing at various daycares and preschools around town. This position has been a great fit for her and her two school age children, Cambria and Madison, and up and coming preschooler, Elijah.
